The Physical

        

               



I always say that this practice of yoga is not about the physical. Well as I practiced at home yesterday, I realized that it is and it isn't. There is more to this than the physical "workout- it's not all about how you look or what you can do with your body. Yet, this "workout" guides you deeper to what's underneath the surface stuff. The handstands, the twists, the sweat, and the flow bring you to your emotions. As the physical body is worked out and freed, the emotions become unleashed, followed by truth; This marks the start of the healing process! And sometimes on the mat, we relive what we haven't processed, but as we spend time with the undigested again, (for real this time, fully present) it processes itself for good!! This is what I love most about yoga. Thank God for you....
